Maths

This caught my attention today.

a) 1 x 0 = 0
b) 2 x 0 = 0
substituting a) into b) gives 1 x 0 = 2 x 0
dividing either side by 0 gives,
1 = 2

But it's alright, because dividing by 0 is not a legitimate operation.

  1. That's pretty crazy, although I only just understood it because math leaves me with a very short attention span.

    Like the blog, keep up the hard work. Followed.

  7. This part of the math is really interesting... until it's "spoiled" with literally tens of variables and describing areas/sets just to explain one -simple- thing like this. :/

    Reminds me why I quit studying maths at uni... I actually regret not enduring.

    Anyway! keep it up. :)
