Maths

This caught my attention today.

a) 1 x 0 = 0
b) 2 x 0 = 0
substituting a) into b) gives 1 x 0 = 2 x 0
dividing either side by 0 gives,
1 = 2

But it's alright, because dividing by 0 is not a legitimate operation.

    This part of the math is really interesting... until it's "spoiled" with literally tens of variables and describing areas/sets just to explain one -simple- thing like this. :/

    Reminds me why I quit studying maths at uni... I actually regret not enduring.
